[F3] Round 1: Australian GP January 09, 2018, 05:34:03 pm The wait is almost over for the start of the new PSGL F3 season. We head to Australia for the first of 12 races in what promises to be an explosive season. With a few familiar faces in F3 joined by new drivers from the lower leagues, the grid will look very different to the previous year. Can the new drivers mount a challenge with the step up in pace? Wocko has dominated pre season testing but strong favourite FrnkDnk didn't complete any laps in the off season so his pace is yet unknown. If the media rumours that Wocko is set for a switch to F1 are true, it will be up to the likes of Frisostolk, SauPaulo and Cheater to challenge FrnkDnk for the drivers title. As with all opening rounds of the year, the drivers and teams will be looking to get off to the best possible start and to make a statement to the rest of the grid who the top guys are out there. Not to mention making a statement to their team mate! Awaiting the 20-strong grid is the challenging street circuit of albert Park. With fast 90 degree corners, the tricky turns 10 and 11 and plenty of bumps in the asphalt, the drivers will be pushed to their limits to maximize their results.Join JP and Ash for all the action this Sunday at 8pm. http://www.youtube.com/user/SuperGodzilla5/featuredLap Record: 1:24.125 - Michael Schumacher – Ferrari F2004 – 7 March 2004Track Trivia: No Australian driver has ever finished on the podium at their home race.
