I've sold the G25 now so I kind of hope not!! lol
Yea, hopefully in 6 months time the price will come down to around what I preordered for (£240).

You get Driveclub Jim, if so, any thoughts?

No mate, gave it a wide berth. I've got NFS already and reading what you guys have put up has seriously put me off. I'll just wait until the freebie comes out and have a look then.

Yeh I'd wait if I were you.  Online is still not working.  My t300 is coming next Saturday so we will see how driveclub is with that bad boy!

Very interesting read here. About time someone looked into it, they do call themselves journalists after all. However, we have no new knowledge, so its carry on with Thrustmaster it seems.

Are you getting a replacement wheel Monty or are you going to wait till pCARS now?

Just got a refund.  Hopefully something else will hit the market or they sort out the issues.

Interesting point about the t500.  The security chip is being used as a distraction lol.

The fact that the T100 works, if only of a fashion, proves that as it has been out way before PS4 I believe.

One thing that annoys me in this day and age is "competition". Allowing just one manufacturer to make peripherals for both Sony and at present Microsoft, creating a monopoly which in all other forums of business is frowned upon.

I was well aware that xbox360 wheels and other accessories wouldnt work on the new Xbox1. However i wasnt  made aware of this being the case for the PS4. At no point was this mentioned, all that was said by Sony was," its up to the game developers to include relevant drivers" . this clearly isnt the case!!

Lots of people feel let down and in my case lied too. I would have had no prolbem is Sony would have come out and been honest with us all, saying none of our accessories would work on the PS4. But im sure they knew what would have happened. It would be like Sony saying to me:

"Jim, please buy a PS4. There'll be no real games out at launch or any that will take your fancy til June. One more thing, we see you play Pcars on your pc. You do know its coming to PS4? But ail those years you've spent building up and buying bits for you racing rig have been worthless. Your fanatec wheel isnt gonna be compatible wtih our PS4 but dont fear, you can buy an overpriced inferior wheel made by Thrustmaster. Their customer support is poor as is their reliability rate too."

Now i have no doubt PS4 is the way to go for "next Gen", i havent or wont buy an Xbox1, but had i known this i would still be waiting for that right moment. And if by the launch of GT7 we are still being forced to use Thrustmaster wheels its gonna be "bye bye" Sony im afraid.

On another note, what a master stroke by Codie on releasing F1 on PS3. Can you imagine the uproar on this forum alone is all the guys had bought F1 on PS4 and were unable to use there wheels. No real fuss is being made at the moment as there are no real "driving" games out yet for the PS4.

Has anyone bought one of these.
I bought one ready for project cars but now that's delayed I'm back on my PS3 with it.
Gotta say it's a massive improvement on the dfgt, feels really nice. Ffb is quality, it's quiet and really smooth.
but the problem is the pedals, they have a massive dead zone which is quite annoying . Can't change any settings for this.. Noticed a few forums with people moaning about it but no resolution ..
Any1 know any news or updates that may fix this, some people say get a different pedal set but the dam wheel was expensive enough. Can't afford anymore.

Monty had one and experienced the same pedal issue so returned it unfortunately. I had one on preorder but cancelled it after the pCARS delay.

I was going to cancell when I herd that project cars was delayed but I would of ended up using the money for something else, so got it while I could.
The wheel is brilliant but getting used to the pedals will take some time.
Not used it with ps4 yet so not sure if it's the same, maybe an update might fix it .

Have you tried hooking them up on your PC, downloading the drivers and seeing what happens? Its always worth a look, sometimes there are firmware updates.

On another point take a look here if you have a G25 or G27: http://www.ricmotech.com/product_p/rmt-t500w2g27p.htm

Wish i still had mine :( would have defo been interested in one of those T300's myself

I tried everything to resolve the deadzone via firmware and a custom calibration tool to no avail.  Send it back, get a refund and wait until they sort their issues out would be my advice.  Common for thrustmaster to have teething problems it seems.

Thrustmaster wanted me to jump through hoops to prove there was massive deadzone so they made my decision easy.

Here's a video of somebody with tx pedals which have the same issue....

Not sure I can be bothered to send it back. Hopefully they will sort it. Or I will have to get used to it

Try their customer service.  They will ask you to make a video like above and prove your purchase.  After that they will most likely replace the pedals for you.  Can't be fixed via firmware as it is a manufacturing fault.
