PSGL F1 Leagues - Stewards' Findings

Irun and Npyne

The stewards feel that this was avoidable and clumsy on Npyne's part. He went for a move that the stewards felt was always going to result in contact and they felt that it was Irun's corner. More patience was required.

10 seconds to be added to Npyne's time.

Side Note - On behalf of the stewards, I am extremely sorry about the massive delay in posting the findings.

Jamie and Remco Vengeance - F1

This is poor driving and poor etiquette. Remco admitted that he wasn't taking it seriously, as he thought a restart was happening, and hit Jamie 2 or 3 times in the process. This didn't only cost Jamie multiple places and wing damage (?), but also affected another driver.

The stewards feel that a time penalty is required, therefore 10 seconds will be added on to Remco's time for his next race.

Side note - Again, sorry about the delay in posting. I'll do my best to now catch up with everything. Also sorry that the wording/layout isn't great. I'm not the best when it comes to wording the findings when posting.

The stewards felt both drivers were driving to an aggressive standard and were clumsy at times. Both drivers gave as good as they got, but believe no penalty should be awarded for the incidents put in the stewards. We acknowledge the minor lag experienced by both drivers.

No further action.

Bananajosh - F5 start incident.

The evidence submitted by Bannajosh was inadequate for the stewards to come to a clear decision. There was a lot of lag making it hard to know what actually happened at the start of the race.

No further action.

F5: Juhoh - Racer_1154 and Josh-9867

The stewards have decided to remove both Racer_1154 and Josh-9867 from the rest of the F5 season and any PSGL F1 league for this current season as punishment for aggressive language, and planning, colluding in and actually intentionally taking out another driver. Only one driver took the action, but both were at fault in not stopping the unsportsmanlike action that took place. Whether there was a valid incident that needed to be investigated in Juhoh coming together with Racer_1154, it should have been submitted to the stewards, not dealt with on track.

Racer_1154 and Josh-9867 banned for the rest of the current PSGL F1 leagues season.

A very unfortunate incident which clearly escalated throughout the lap. The stewards feel that Hellboy created the situation in which this whole incident arose. He clearly states that he wanted to use Oogiee as a slipstream on a qualifying lap, rather than give fair space and respect to his fellow racers. By trying to use a slipstream it was likely he was always going to end up very close to Oogiee if not trying to overtake him. Thats just not fair or respectful to a fellow driver who is going at race speeds, fair enough if he was slow and holding uyou up. But he wasn't. Adding to multiple incidents of getting very close and compromising both drivers race lines and laps, he actually made contact and took Oogie off.

The stewards felt that Oogiee was clearly frustrated, which was understandable to a degree. However, the stewards felt that Oogiee's move across to hit Hellboy was intentional, even if not fully acted out, half hearted if you will. The stewards felt that Oogiee had slowed down well ahead of the corner which shows some intention to hit Hellboy on some level.

Hellboy will receive a quallifying ban for the next race and have 15 seconds added to his next race finish time.
Oogiee will have 15 seconds added to his next race finish time.

The stewards felt BUA made a genuine error on the exit of Turn 8 and loses control of his car. It's an unfortunate incident, but the stewards feel it'd be unfair to penalise a genuine mistake.

The stewards felt that this was an unfortunate incident. Both drivers need to be careful in to turn 1 and give each other space. The stewards felt that this incident wasn't Jack nor RDJW his fault.

The stewards felt that this was a bit inconsistent damage from codemasters. Both drivers has to give the other driver space. We give both drivers as advise to be aware of your surroundings at all time but especially at the start. The stewards felt that none of the drivers involved deserves a penalty.

It is clear from the evidence provided by Francis that it was a lag-related incident involving ghosts cars, so there's nothing either driver could have done to avoid it. Very unfortunate.

F1: hellboy and Greeny

You could see clearly that hellboy wasn’t pushing flatout. Hellboy should’ve let greeny through as Greeny were on a flying lap. Although it wasn’t intentional you should always be aware for other drivers on your outlap/inlap. The stewards felt that this has to be punished.

Hellboy will receive a qualifying ban for the next race

The stewards understand that the44best had 2 illegal overtakes which he had to give back. But slowing down and crossing over the track was not the right solution. Or stay completely to the left side or just take the penalty. The stewards felt a small penalty is enough.

Xxthe44bestxx will receive a 10s penalty added to his time the next race he finish.

We were all shocked and sad to see this incident and resulted in some heated discussion among the stewards and league admins as to what to do.We know Josh over many years, and without wanting to sound like a Match of the Day pundit, he isn't a dirty player/driver. However, we are all capable of a moment of madness and unfortunately this appears to have taken the form of this incident. It is an ugly incident, and i don't think Josh would disagree. Irrespective of what was happening in the build up this is the wrong way to handle things, you can't take another driver out intentionally whoever you are.

The list of penaltys which the stewards use stipulates a permanent ban for taking out another driver, with stewards discretion. We have taken Boywithnoface's long presence and contribution to PSGL over time and the fact that this incident was so out of the ordinary into consideration. But, equally, we can't show favouritism in an incident of this sort.

Boywithnoface has been removed from the F1 and other PSGL F1 2017 leagues for the remainder of the season. This is absoutely not a permanent site/league ban.

The stewards have studied the footage and they could clearly see that f1_mrp80 was moving to the right side to the pitlane. Raversrevenge had the time to see him and go around him. F1_MrP80 had no were to go.

From Oogie his POV it looked like JD indeed hit him, but from JD his POV it was clearly thst JD didn’t hit oogie suggesting some de-sync issues. Although his move was a bit optimistic the stewards felt that a penalty wasn’t necessary.
