:13: Nooooooo, OMG thats awesome. I just know i woudnt be able to resist. Best start saving now, i've got a feeling its gonna cost rather a lot of cash.

looking at the size of the rim though its gonna take quite a big motor or two to drive it. Noise might be an issue as, judging by the vents, its got a few fans.

I've said in the past that the current T300 is near enough the same as the more expensive Fanatec CSW. This new GT sport wheel could be even better. I just hope it has changeable rims, F1 wouldn't be the same without the ferrari rim. A new pedal range is a must imo as this is thrustmasters only real let down.

Thought I'd post here, as a wheel thread.

A few F1 guys have been struggling with the T300 RS on F1 2015, so here's my settings and a standard set-up that'd I use in a F2 league race :)

I use Traction Control on FULL, ABS On, Manual Gears (suggested) - this seems to be the quickest system on this game.

My wheel settings are:

ADVANCED WHEEL SETTINGS

Everything at 0 works for me.

Force Feedback Options

It's down for preference but I prefer no environmental feedback.

FORCE FEEDBACK - ON

Feedback Strength - 63
Environmental Feedback 0
Wheel Weight - 90

Set-up

I use this set-up at every circuit (more or less)

Aero: 1-1
Transmission: 90-85
Front Camber: 3.50
Rear Camber: 2.00
Front Toe: 0.15
Rear Toe: 0.50

Front Suspension: 11
Rear Suspension: 1
Front ARB: 11
Rear ARB: 6

Front Tyre: 19.0
Rear Tyre: 19.0

Ballast: 9

A few general tips:

- Aggressive downshifts with manual gears, it's a video game not real life. Need to make the most of the engine braking.

- Smooth the wheel - I have watched some other wheel users and they are too aggressive or turn the wheel too much, I barely move the wheel much through corners. (Difficult to explain, but hope you get what I mean).

- Practice - On quick race NOT Time Trial. I never practice on TT

A clean lap at Bahrian.

How do your tyres not die with those tyre pressures?  :o :o

They've always worked for me since day 1, so kept them the same. I've tried other pressures, but these seems to work. Tyre wear seems fine compared to everyone else, Silverstone is the only track I've had worse tyre wear versus Remco, for example.

I'm not sure if anyone knows this or in fact does it but i've found a way to change the rotation on the thrustmaster T300rs.

Mine seems to have defaulted to 360o which is no good for Pcars but is best for F1.

To change the rotation simply press the "mode" button and the directional left or right. Left moves it down, all the way to 270o. Move it right, it goes all the way to 1080o. I think it goes from 270-360-540-900-1080. Its easy to check in the game set up.

What's the setting preset for F1?

Yeah i know :9: Thought it was a bit funny how it was trying to rip my arm off on Pcars driving that Indy car thing.

I'm not sure Tom. If you go to the advance wheel setting in F1, turn your wheel whilst looking at the indicator you'll see. If if goes round and round its a good bet its set on 900o-1080o

In going to get a wheel so I can start racing in F6
I'm not fussed about having the gear selector but I do like the Logitech G29.
I used to have a G27 6 years ago.
So my question is do you have to have the gear selector connected and mounted to use the pedals and the wheel or can you just not connect it?
Or what about a wheel and just pedals package

What do you all use? I've got a stand to mount it on. But it only caters for wheel and pedals

There is some discussion here, but essentially you will mainly be looking at the Logitech G29 or the Thurstmaster T300 and versions of that. I think the T300 is a little more expensive.

Cheers mate
I had the G27 back.in the day. Say may go with the G29
Do you have to have the shifter connected?

Have to have the shifter connected for what, changing gears? No, i wouldn't of thought so as its got the paddle shifters even for cars that don't have them in real life. From memory, when i had the G25 on the PS3 my WheelStandPro came with a shifter plate to attach it if you wanted to use it.

Arh ok brilliant
Currys are doing an offer and showing the shifter in the picture too. So if it comes with it I guess I can just disconnect it
